Mt. Tam Mountain Bike Trails

Mt. Tamalpais (Mt. Tam) has over 50 miles of great bike trails offering everything from steep lung-busting climbs, to bucolic trails around scenic Lake Lagunitas, to thrilling downhills over fast technical fireroads.  Many of the loops on this site  offer incredible views of San Francisco Bay, San Francisco, and the Pacific.  Don’t miss loops that include some of the trails that made the area famous, such as Old Railroad Grade and Hoo-Koo-E-Koo.  Trails are rated HOT, MEDIUM, OR MILD.
